Each year, CARPC produces an annual report to share information about our activities with Dane County communities and residents. Our 2022 Annual Report highlights the many collaborations that helped move us toward our regional goals last year.
Key highlights of 2022 include:
- Adoption of the 2050 Regional Development Framework
- Creation of a Proactive Planning Committee to guide Framework implementation
- Development of an interactive indicator dashboard to track progress toward Framework goals
- Approval and adoption of the Black Earth Creek Watershed Green Infrastructure Plan
- Expanded climate resilience work through partnerships with the Dane County Office of Energy and Climate Change and Tree Canopy Collaborative
- Launch of the Environmental Corridors Report update process
- Completion of the 2020 Dane County Land Use Inventory
- Collaboration on local planning projects with the Town of Vienna, Village of Marshall, Rock County, and more
- Development of new mapping products like the Dane County Heritage Oaks Project and the Greater Madison Regional Green Infrastructure Viewer
