2020 Dane County Land Use Inventory Now Available

After a multiyear effort, CARPC in partnership with Dane County have completed the Dane County 2020 Land Use Inventory. The data is available for viewing on the CARPC Dane County Land Use Inventory web map and available for download on the CARPC Open Data Portal.

The Land Use Inventory is part of a decades long effort to measure how land is used that provides critical information for local and regional planning. The first county wide Land Use Inventory took place in 1970, then next scheduled Land Use Inventory will be in 2025.
