Strategic Plan
In 2024, CARPC staff and commissioners participated in a strategic planning process to help us align our work efforts with the 2050 Regional Development Framework and the Dane County Water Quality Plan. A core principle of the resulting strategic plan is that CARPC prioritizes intergovernmental collaboration and our relationships with communities and partner agencies.
Annual Report
The Capital Area Regional Planning Commission produces annual reports to share information about its activities with local units of government and people within the region.
Work Program and Budget
Each year, CARPC adopts a work program that describes the work activities to be conducted by agency staff, the anticipated hours spent on each activity, their expected costs, and the expected results. The Commission adopted the 2024 work program at its November 27, 2023 meeting. The 2023 budget was initially adopted at the September 14, 2023 meeting and is scheduled to be amended at the December 14, 2023 meeting.
