Welcome, Farewell to Our Interns

Community Planning Intern Kate Sand with her husband Joshua

Please join us in welcoming Kate Sand and bidding farewell to Brittany Cobb as CARPC’s Community Planning & Environmental Resources Intern.

Brittany has earned her master’s degree in Water Resources Management and headed out west to establish her career closer to family. Congratulations and best wishes, Brittany!

Kate is currently earning a MS in Urban and Regional Planning with the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture at UW-Madison. Her academic focus is on affordable housing and historical preservation. She is excited to join our team maintaining CARPC’s regional news map, assisting with the Dane County Land Use Inventory update, and contributing to the Regional Development Framework update.

CARPC also welcomes Stephanie Rockwood as our new GIS Intern. Stephanie is pursuing a MS in Environmental Observation and Informatics at UW-Madison. Her primary focus will be updating the Dane County Land Use Inventory.
