Introducing Our New Spatial Analysis Intern

Please join us in welcoming our new Environmental Spatial Analysis Intern, Liz Levy! Liz started earlier this month and is excited to work with the CARPC team on mapping and analyzing the regional tree canopy. During her time with us, Liz will primarily work on developing advanced web mapping tools to support equitable canopy cover development, integrating existing tree inventories into iTree Ecosystem Service Valuation tools, and developing a Woodland Preservation Prioritization tool.
Liz is currently enrolled in the Environmental Observation and Informatics MS at UW-Madison. She hopes to use her skills to build sustainable cities and ensure that natural resources are accessible to all. A long-time Madison resident, Liz loves to read, write, kayak, and play tabletop games in her spare time.
