Connecting with Our Commissioners: Heidi Murphy

Jason Valerius, CARPC’s Executive Director, continues his efforts to meet with each of our Commissioners. Last week, he met with Heidi Murphy at the CARPC office on Capitol Square.

Heidi is a Village Board trustee for Cottage Grove and cares deeply about housing supply and affordability. In early 2023, she helped Cottage Grove implement a Housing Strategy that focuses on these challenges presented by urban growth. She also previously worked for the U.S. Census Bureau and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
