CARPC’s new Executive Director, Jason Valerius, is connecting with our 12 Commissioners. CARPC Commissioners are appointed by the Dane County Executive, the City of Madison Mayor, the Dane County Towns Association, and the Dane County Cities and Villages Association.
Peter McKeever was the first Commissioner he met with. Peter has been on the commission since his appointment by former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk in 2010. Peter is a stalwart advocate for our open spaces and natural resources, and he loves places where people see each other and interact, from Capitol Square to our rural parks and trails.
