Tuesday, April 22
BECWA Forum | 5–9 p.m. | Wisconsin Heights High School
Join us at the Black Earth Creek Watershed Association Forum, where Nick Bower, CARPC Senior Environmental Engineer, will present on watershed planning and protection. CARPC staff will also host a booth with resources on regional land use and our role in developing the Black Earth Creek Watershed Green Infrastructure Plan.

Earth Day Extravaganza | Lussier Community Education Center
Celebrate Earth Day with Matt Noone, CARPC Senior Environmental Resources Planner, and the Dane County Tree Board at this community event, featuring a Heritage Oak Tree Sapling Giveaway (while supplies last).

Wednesday, April 23
MadREP Conference: The Future of Development | Sheraton Madison Hotel
CARPC Executive Director Jason Valerius will be speaking on a panel about community readiness at this conference, which will explore the fundamentals of economic development and provide valuable insights for planners and local officials.

Thursday & Friday, April 24–25
Dane County Arbor Day Celebration | Indian Lake County Park
CARPC’s Matt Noone, the Dane County Tree Board, and members of the Tree Canopy Collaborative (TCC) will be supporting school tree plantings alongside nearly 600 sixth-grade students as part of this year’s Arbor Day celebration.

Celebrate Earth Day with CARPC’s Matt Noone and the Dane County Tree Board at this family-friendly event, featuring free tree giveaways and fun activities for all ages.

Join CARPC Senior Environmental Resources Planner Matt Noone at this popular spring event to explore local habitats and enjoy nature walks, educational activities, and more.

Midwest Climate Summit | UW–Madison Memorial Union
CARPC is proud to serve as a co-chair of this year’s Midwest Climate Summit. Staff will be attending and helping lead the event, including coordinating sessions, presenting on local and regional climate planning efforts, and hosting a bike tour highlighting local sustainability projects.

Liz Levy, Environmental Resources Planner, will be tabling on behalf of CARPC and the Tree Canopy Collaborative. Stop by for tree-themed crafts and hands-on educational activities.

Visit our booth to chat with CARPC staff about our planning efforts, including our role in developing the Black Earth Creek Watershed Green Infrastructure Plan and supporting resilient development in the watershed.
