Jason Valerius, CARPC’s Executive Director, continues his efforts to meet with each of our Commissioners. Last week, he visited the Town of Dunn to connect with Steve Greb. 

Steve currently serves as Dunn’s Town Chair and previously served on the Plan Commission. During their conversation, he talked about the Town of Dunn’s nationally-known Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) program, which collects tax revenue from Town landowners annually to secure conservation easements with willing property owners. Steve also has extensive knowledge of water quality and recently helped an international program track waterbody health with satellites.
