OPEN DATA PORTAL
The open data portal is a free resource for locating, viewing, and downloading geospatial data developed by CARPC. All vector datasets are automatically available for download as CSV, KML, and Shapefiles and accessible via the GeoJSON and GeoService APIs.

HOUSING CONSTRUCTION/BUILDING PERMIT DATA
The following interactive story investigates new housing construction in Dane County pre- and post-recession. Changes in how much construction, the type of construction, household formation, and housing preferences play a role in our region’s ability to house future populations. You can read and interact with the story below or manipulate the data on your own to investigate your own line of inquiry.
