Now Hiring: Environmental Engineer II
The Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) is seeking to fill one immediate opening for a permanent, full-time, entry- to intermediate-level, engineering position (please refer to the Environmental Engineer I posting).
Responsibilities
The Environmental Engineer II takes the lead on stormwater management and sanitary sewer plan review, and assists with water quality planning, environmental resources management planning, report writing, and related work as required. Requires coordination of work with other staff and outside entities and may include presentations and representation of CARPC in various stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
- 4 years of experience in stormwater management design, civil site development design or review, water distribution and sanitary sewer analysis/design or review, and/or water quality planning.
- Ability to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, or the ability to be licensed within 1 year of the start of employment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-disciplined/motivated individual who also works well in a team environment.
Salary Range: $87,805 – $96,233
