CARPC’s COVID-19 Policy

CARPC’s COVID-19 Policy

Updated March 2022: As the pandemic evolves, CARPC and the Greater Madison MPO continue to adapt the COVID-19 policy for our shared offices at 100 State Street in accordance with local requirements and guidelines.

While some staff are returning to the office, e-mail is still the best way to reach CARPC staff. Please visit our Staff Page for a complete list of staff and their e-mails.

We continue to hold most meetings online or by telephone. All scheduled Commission meetings and public hearings will continue to take place virtually until further notice. Please visit our Meeting Information page for upcoming meeting details and instructions on participating remotely. Public comments may be submitted via email to haleys@capitalarearpc.org at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

As we are still receiving in-person visitors by appointment only, our elevator is often locked during normal business hours. There are no requirements in place for visitors to 100 State Street. Masks, hand sanitizer, and handwashing facilities are still available as needed, and we respect the preferences of anyone who wishes to maintain protective measures while in our offices.

We continue to monitor the latest information and guidelines as we anticipate more fully staffing and reopening the office later this year. We appreciate all our communities have done to weather the challenges of the pandemic and look forward to greater opportunities for in-person connection moving forward.
