CARPC’s COVID-19 Strategy
Updated 8/24/2020: As Dane County continues to cope with the global pandemic, CARPC and the Greater Madison MPO have adopted a COVID-19 preparedness plan for our shared offices at 100 State Street.
While some staff are returning to the office, e-mail is still the best way to reach CARPC staff. Please visit our Staff Page for a complete list of staff and their e-mails.
We are still holding most meetings online or by telephone. As we are currently receiving in-person visitors by appointment only, our elevator is locked during normal business hours.
Any visitors to 100 State Street should be prepared to follow best practices such as distancing, masking, and handwashing/sanitizing. Elevator usage will be limited to one person at a time. We require visitors to wear a mask while in our office, especially in common areas (we have extra masks available). Hand sanitizer will be provided for visitors to use upon entering and leaving. We also ask that visitors maintain safe distancing measures while in common areas, individual offices, and the conference room. Staff can assist visitors with using phones, computers, or other equipment if needed.
We will be maintaining our Commission meeting and public hearing schedule, but intend to hold meetings virtually. Please visit our Meeting Information page for upcoming meeting details and instructions on participating remotely. Public comments may be submitted via email to LindaF@capitalarearpc.org at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
We appreciate your continued patience and hope that you are staying safe and healthy during this challenging time.
